Logon to the site of IRCTC www.irctc.co.in

Register yourself on the site (if first time user) or log on with Username and Password.

    After log on u getting this type of windows. please enter Departure place and Arrive place, Date of booking, ticket type, Quota (tatkal or general),  go to find trains..(for example u ready to go virudachalam to tambaram enter from VRI to TBM), Now u can see below the windows.

After u can see how many seats available now. if u need to booking ticket select book button.

after u should be need fill the some informations here. for example: your name, age, any id proof

details(tatkal only), mobile number, berth preference. click go button, now u need enter bank account details. now u can recieved online ticket via sms and your mail id. sms only enough to traveling with train.
